ConnectedCam does one thing: it moves video from your iPhone to your Mac over a USB cable. It doesn't collect, store or share personal data.

Your camera

The iPhone app uses the camera to show you a preview and to send the picture to the ConnectedCam app on your Mac, over the cable. The Mac app hands that picture to the video apps you choose, such as Zoom or FaceTime. ConnectedCam doesn't record, upload or send your video anywhere else.

What we don't collect

Permissions

iPhone: camera access, used only for the preview and the stream to your Mac.
Mac: a camera extension that you approve in System Settings, which lets other apps use ConnectedCam as a camera.

Purchases

ConnectedCam is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your payment details.

This website

connectedcam.store uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser type) for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them after 14 days.
